Time zone support for multinational clients.
Intergraph CAESAR II is a complete pipe stress analysis software program which has become the standard for pipe stress analysis. CAESAR II stress analysis software is used extensively and worldwide by both global and local engineering organisations.
The input graphics model of CAESAR II facilitates intuitive pipe stress analysis modelling. A CAESAR II stress analysis shows piping system flexibility, plus any areas of concern. Pipe stress analysis results, in the form of displacements, loads and stresses, are compared with international piping standards and piping codes.
CAESAR II provides for the static and dynamic analysis of piping systems. Calculation capabilities include:
CAESAR II models structural steel, and provides spectrum and time history analysis and automatic spring sizing.
CAESAR II includes an extensive materials database showing allowable stresses for ass commonly used piping codes, plus databases for valves, flanges and expansion joints.
CAESAR II has a bi-directional link with CADWorx Plant, Intergraph's comprehensive 3D piping and plant design software. Use Intergraph's CAESAR II and CADWorx together to achieve significant productivity gains such as CAESAR II data producing piping isometrics in CADWorx.
AFT Impulse is pipe flow calculation software that addresses the effects of waterhammer and other undesirable transients in piping systems. AFT Impulse transient force files can be imported into CAESAR II for Dynamic Time History and Response Spectrum analysis.
CAESAR II files may be imported into FE/Pipe's beam modeller for finite element analysis with shell or brick models.
CAESAR II is developed by Intergraph's renowned mechanical engineering experts. CAESAR II software is tested using stringent quality assurance standards and is fully supported by a trained team at Fern, backed up by Intergraph's software engineering programmers.

| Question | Why does CAESAR II version 5.20 throw an error message "Feature not found, or NetHL licenses all in use H0031" on program startup, but CAESAR II 4.5 works fine with local green USB ESL HASP key? |
| Answer | CAESAR II 5.20 requires local and Network USB HASP keys to have a firmware version of 3.21. The error number H0031 indicates that the current firmware version of your local HASP key is 2.16 which can be verified by visiting HASP Admin Control Center web page. Click on HASP keys under Administration options menu and check the firmware version of your dongle. Please follow these simple instructions to apply the firmware update: Go to the \Assidrv directory located under the CAESAR II 5.20 program directory at C:\Program Files\Intergraph\CAESAR II 5.20\Assidrv and run the executable Firmwareupdate.exe and click on apply button. Please ensure that this is the only HASP key attached to your PC. Disconnect any USB memory/flash drives prior to applying the firmware update. The HASP key red light will blink for several seconds and then it will become steady. Now close the firmware utility and revisit the HASP web page to check and confirm the firmware version update to version 3.21. CAESAR II 5.20 program should run correctly after this firmware update. |
| Question | We can not find 132 column report selection in CAESAR II 5.20 as there is no miscellaneous option check box available in the static output processor. Any idea how can I generate 132 column reports in CAESAR II 5.20? |
| Answer | The miscellaneous option check box for 132 column report is available in CAESAR II version 4.5 and older programs in the static output processor but in later versions i.e. CAESAR II version 5.0, 5.1 and 5.20, the 132 column report is now known as extended report. See under standard report column where you will find restraint summary extended, stresses extended and code compliance extended reports which are all 132 column reports. |
| Question | The configuration file is missing after the installing CAESAR II 5.20 on a Windows XP 64 bit platform. Any idea how can I fix this problem? |
| Answer | This is a known issue in CAESAR II 5.20 release build 093004 which has been addressed in September build 090904. |
