CADWorx Equipment is a parametric equipment modeller with all the features needed to easily model 3D equipment for plant design.

CADWorx Equipment allows the creation of accurately built units such as vessels, exchangers, tanks and pumps.

CADWorx Equipment also has a bi-directional interface with Intergraph's PV Elite pressure vessel analysis software. Vessels, tanks and exchangers initially created in CADWorx Equipment can be passed to PV Elite for analysis without information loss.

Following analysis, the equipment can be imported into CADWorx Equipment and including any modifications required to achieve code compliance. When equipment is created originally in PV Elite, this can be exported to CADWorx Equipment, providing true bi-directional integration for users.

CADWorx Steel is a structural steel modeller providing a full range of international steel shapes and catalogues with links to detailing and analysis software.

CADWorx Steel allows straight or curved steel members to be placed on construction lines or at any place in the design. Editing members' sizes, lengths, coping and notching against adjoining members is easy. Steel members can be linked to project databases for full and comprehensive bills of material reports.

 

Use CADWorx Design Review to create informative and visually stunning animated models by choosing your desired settings for colour, transparency, shadows, layers, specs and other elements. Select an animation path line and easily adjust it at any time to view the model in any combination of the six degrees of freedom including yaw, pitch and roll. Powerful navigation tools provide easy, smooth and judder-free movement around the 3D model during review.

Even large files are converted quickly and compactly, producing review files that are up to one eighth of the original model size. CADWorx Design Review automatically includes all cross-referenced files into the review model, eliminating the slow task of loading the individual model files that make up a complete design. 

CADWorx Design Review provides full integration with CADWorx Plant Professional, providing the same model information as in a CADWorx design session, including descriptions, line numbers, weights and other plant design data.

CADWorx Design Create provides the ability to create .CDR files that can be viewed using the free CADWorx Design Viewer.

CADWorx Design Create

CADWorx Design Create is an add-on to CADWorx Design Review, delivering the ability to publish a .CDR file type. Optional date-limited and password-protected review models can then be read by CADWorx Design Review and CADWorx Design Viewer.

The CADWorx Design Create proprietary .cdr file format offers a standard for distribution and review of 3D CADWorx Plant Professional design models because it is compact and secure. 

When published as a CADWorx .cdr file type, users can visualize and navigate even the largest project.  Published files retain the visual and data fidelity of the original native 3D file but are significantly smaller than the original (typically one eighth size).

CADWorx Data Tracker has been developed to assist Intergraph CADWorx users to view, edit and use the database information in a CADWorx project.

Project Wizard

Set up a new project database and configure all the fields and tables, set up a Model directory structure to organise your models most efficiently and select the specifications required for the project. Associated data files are copied to the designated project folder.

User Access Rights

Define secure individual user access on a per project basis. Each user accesses their own manager-customised CADWorx Data Tracker features. Project information can also be set to read-only where required.

Project Log

Keep in control by tracking which users are accessing the project and the actions that they are performing. Report on this Project log to confirm users' actions, including the time and date that each action was performed.

Configurable Data Input Forms

Project Data Input forms can be configured by adding text boxes or drop down lists, and map any fields in the project database to these. Individual items can also be set to read-only. Form configuration is saved on a per project basis and data for components can be input using these forms. CADWorx drawings are subsequently synchronised with the updated database, reflecting all changes.

Export and Import Reports

Reports are configured using a simple wizard interface. Each report configuration is saved and reports can be exported in an Excel format. Reports and any changes can also be re-imported into the project database.

Revision Control

Project revisions can be created to give a snapshot of the project at any point in time. These revisions can be compared with each other and the Live Project, to determine any new, changed or deleted items. The results of each comparison are output to an Excel spreadsheet, with the differences highlighted.

PV Fabricator works with powerful parametric modelling capabilities allowing for the quick and accurate development of fully editable 3D models of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Complete fabrication requirements can be developed from these models, using tools to automate the detail production process.

PV Fabricator's true power is realised when it is linked to PV Elite, as 3D models can be created complete with the analysis data. This link improves engineering and design integration by removing wasted time and avoids the introduction of mistakes that result from task duplication.

PV Fabricator has the ability to make use of an unlimited number of existing company drawings, details, notes etc. The program handles the task of using and maintaining links to title blocks from various locations or even existing drawings.

Customisation is easy with intuitive dialogs to let the user set styles for each item that will appear on the drawings. The representation of notes, call outs, weld symbols, title blocks, name plates, bills of material, nozzle schedules and dimensions can all be configured for any project or client requirement.
